Job description

Summary
The Manager of Quality is responsible for supporting Belimo's Integrated Management System, as well as overseeing functions such as Incoming Material Inspection, Warranty Analysis, Shop Floor and Audit Compliance. This role will collaborate closely with the Global and Local teams such as Supplier Quality, Sustainability, Product Management, Production, and Innovation to ensure and enhance the quality of Belimo products.
What You'll Do
  • Establishment of the local Quality Organization
  • Functional and disciplinary leadership of the Quality Department, including setting objectives, conducting performance reviews, and fostering team development.
  • Responsibility for implementing global quality, environmental, and occupational safety strategies at the site, as well as defining an monitoring local Quality Department objectives in coordination with regional and local management.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and the effectiveness of the integrated management system (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001), including managing corrective actions and facilitating management reviews.
  • Ensuring the updating and assessment of, and communication regarding, legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Organizing and ensuring preventive and reactive quality management, including the management of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Responsibility for execution of the incoming goods inspection process.
  • Internal communication and training on quality principles to foster quality awareness.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and executing continuous improvement projects.
  • Responsibility for planning, conducting, and following up on internal and external audits.

Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering or related technical field
  • 5-10 prior experience in a Quality role in manufacturing
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and organize cross-functional meetings, committees, and people in a professional manner
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, organization, and time-management skills
  • Proficient use of word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and email software
  • Travel requirements up to 20%

The base pay for this position ranges from $110,000 - $125,000 annually with a target performance bonus of 15% of an employee's annual base salary. Compensation is based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience.
