Job description

Rapid Restoration is hiring an experienced Restoration Project Manager to oversee water damage, fire/smoke damage, and mold remediation projects from start to finish. As we grow our trade area towards New York City, we are looking for a candidate that resides in Nassau County.
This role requires strong field management, insurance coordination, and Xactimate experience. You will manage jobs, crews, and client communication while ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and in compliance with IICRC standards.
Key Responsibilities

  •  Manage water mitigation, fire damage, and mold remediation projects
  •  Develop and execute drying plans, demolition scopes, and remediation protocols
  •  Coordinate and supervise technicians, subcontractors, and vendors
  •  Communicate with homeowners, property managers, and insurance adjusters
  •  Prepare and review Xactimate estimates, supplements, and job documentation
  •  Track moisture readings, drying logs, and job progress
  •  Ensure compliance with IICRC standards and safety protocols
  •  Maintain job schedules, budgets, and quality control
  •  Participate in on-call rotation for emergency services (24/7 response)
Required Qualifications

  •  3+ years experience in restoration project management (water/fire/mold)
  •  Strong knowledge of water mitigation, structural drying, and mold remediation
  •  Proficiency in Xactimate
  •  Experience working with insurance carriers and claims process
  •  Valid driver’s license 
  •  Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications

  • IICRC Certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT) 
  •  Experience with supplements and insurance negotiations
