Master Electrician


Reputable, well-respected, full service, commercial, and residential electrical contractor, in business for over 40 years, and providing the utmost level of quality and expertise to our clients, is seeking a highly experienced and licensed master electrician.


Reporting to the superintendent, the master electrician will be responsible for the installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and components, while adhering to all compliance and code regulations. For consideration, our ideal candidate will be an experienced and licensed electrician with experience, handling everything from intricate wiring on residential projects to pulling permits for large-scale commercial installations. Essential responsibilities


Install and repair electrical wiring, fixtures and systems.


Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and/or faulty electronic components.


Perform service upgrades, panel replacements, and full unit re-wires.


Maintain tools, equipment and company vehicles.


Test and inspect electric wiring and lighting, to ensure and maintain safety and compliance.


Identify and mitigate safety hazards, code violations, and electrical issues.


Interpret blueprints and rough sketches when required.


Update project records and prepare relevant documents and reports for clients.


Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams.


Guide, supervise, train and mentor other electricians.


Essential Qualifications


Valid Master Electrician License.


A clean driving record and background check.


5 + years of experience in residential, commercial, and/or industrial electrical work.


Leadership skills and the ability to teach and inspire our other electricians, as they gain experience.


Strong knowledge of the NEC standards, electrical safety and installation practices.


Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting.


Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks.


Ability to handle low voltage and high voltage wiring safely and effectively.


Familiarity with renovation projects involving complex electrical upgrades or modifications.
