FoxArneson, a 40+ year commercial construction and design-build firm, is hiring a Project Manager to run repeat-client, ground-up commercial projects ($5M-$25M) from our Madison office - no job-site trailer, a stable and predictable project pipeline, and Superintendents who handle field execution.


Compensation & Benefits

$110,000-$130,000 base salary

Performance- and project-completion-based bonus program

Generously funded profit-sharing plan

Traditional and Roth 401(k), with a 3% of gross salary employer safe-harbor contribution

Medical and dental coverage, with employer contributions to an HSA and Health Reimbursement plan

4 weeks PTO plus paid holidays

What You'll Do

Manage project budget, track cost-to-complete weekly, and maintain accurate forecasting

Develop and maintain the master schedule and align Superintendent lookaheads to it

Price, negotiate, and execute change orders; keep non-client-driven change exposure under 20%

Serve as primary point of contact for the owner and lead regular OAC meetings

Lead subcontractor procurement, scope alignment, and contract enforcement

Maintain complete Procore records, review submittals, manage RFIs, and control closeout documentation

Requirements

  Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field

5+ years as a commercial construction Project Manager, including ground-up experience on $5M-$25M projects

Procore fluency; comfort with Microsoft Project and Bluebeam

Must be willing to relocate to the Madison, WI area before starting

Experience with design-build and design-bid-build delivery methods preferred

PMP certification or P.E. license a plus
