Overview 

We are seeking a Fiber Product Project Manager to lead high-visibility initiatives supporting the development, management, and delivery of fiber products and devices. This role will have direct access to the VP of Internet Product and will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive fiber projects from planning through execution. The ideal candidate is a strong project leader who understands broadband/fiber products and devices, can manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, and is comfortable operating in a highly visible, fast-paced environment. This is a hybrid role requiring 4 days on-site in Denver, CO. All qualified candidates must be located in the Denver, CO area and be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship or visa transfers. Please note that we do not work C2C.

Responsibilities

· Lead and manage Fiber product and device initiatives from concept through implementation and delivery.

· Own project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.

· Manage the lifecycle of fiber devices and associated product initiatives, ensuring projects remain on schedule and aligned with business objectives.

· Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Network, Operations, IT, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams.

· Coordinate stakeholders and ensure clear communication of project status, priorities, risks, and decisions.

· Identify and proactively resolve project issues, dependencies, and roadblocks.

· Facilitate project meetings, establish action items, and drive accountability across teams.

· Prepare executive-level project updates and communicate progress directly to senior leadership, including the VP of Internet Product.

· Ensure projects meet defined business, technical, operational, and customer requirements.

· Support product launches, device deployments, upgrades, and other strategic fiber initiatives.

· Develop and maintain project documentation, schedules, status reports, and other project artifacts.

· Manage multiple high-priority projects while balancing competing deadlines and stakeholder needs.

Requirements

· 5+ years of experience in project management, product management, or a related role.

· Experience working with fiber, broadband, telecommunications, or Internet products.

· Experience managing devices, hardware, or customer-premises equipment (CPE), preferably including ONTs, gateways, routers, Wi-Fi equipment, or similar fiber Internet devices.

· Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional projects from initiation through completion.

· Experience with fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) products, deployments, or related broadband initiatives.

· Strong understanding of project management methodologies, processes, and best practices.

· Experience working in a telecommunications service provider, broadband, or Internet product environment.

· Experience supporting product launches, device deployments, certifications, upgrades, or device lifecycle management.

· Strong organizational, communication, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work effectively with both technical and business teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders.

· Ability to proactively identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and drive projects to completion.

· Comfortable working in a high-visibility environment with direct interaction with senior leadership.

· Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.

Education/Certifications

· Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Business, IT, Computer Science, or Finance, etc

· PMP or other project management certification is a plus.

Compensation

Sand Cherry Associates is required by Colorado law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range considers a wide range of factors considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This is a 6+ month consulting opportunity with an annual salary range of $110,000-$125,000. Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
