Drisco is a construction contractor that services the Transmission Line industry. This is a niche market in the drilling industry that continues to have a growing need.
The Project Manager / Estimator is responsible for multiple tasks related to our construction projects. Various duties include:
  • Manage various drilling projects from the estimating phase through completion.
  • Manage all financial aspects of a Project, from job setup to monthly billings, forecasting, and final closeout, to ensure projects meet stakeholder expectations
  • Create project estimates for various projects across the country
  • Develop relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other contractors to obtain competitive pricing for projects.
  • Work directly with the President of the company to learn the business and be a critical part of the company's success
  • Perform field visits to learn the business as well as understand project progress. Occasional travel with overnight stay may be necessary
  • Develop relationships with the entire project teams that result in a healthy work environment and ultimately expedites project work. Great communication is imperative.

Position Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years experience in an engineering or construction environment
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction
  • Computer Skills: Must have accurate typing skills and be proficient in using database, email,spreadsheet, and word processing applications, specifically Microsoft Excel and be willing to learn new software applications
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must pass pre-employment screening
  • Must have excellent communication skills. Written, oral, and face-to-face
