Job description

Paragon is seeking a New Nuclear Project Manager to join our team support our HIPS team. As a Project Manager, this role is responsible for defining project objectives, creating project schedules and overseeing the budget throughout the entire project.


Responsibilities

  • Review the client’s contract and go through order acceptance, document approvals, project date changes, order completion, shipment notification, communication plan (for large projects)
  • Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project
  • Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project
  • Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities
  • Review the project schedule with management and customers (as required)
  • Monitor progress of the project against project milestones and notify management if there is a deviance from the plan
  • Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
  • Create and submit Production Orders (JOFs) - locate and attach CGD, TIR, or other work guides
  • Create and submit Travelers - Locate and attach drawings, Specs, TIR, FATP
  • Update project schedules in Hippo - develop based on TML, update based on project activities
  • Create and submit spreadsheets for vendor POs
  • Prepare paperwork for completion/invoicing
  • Provide client updates as requested; host monthly client project reviews
  • Participate in GEMBA and Project Review Meetings


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of project management experience required
  • Prior nuclear industry experience is required
  • PMP designation a plus
  • Experience working within a Quality program is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MS Project)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects, competing priorities and tight deadlines simultaneously while maintaining quality and accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and accuracy
