Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead The Projects by efficiently creating a project plan and do anything to advance the project along!
  • Quickly Learn About the Medical Device Industry working on experimental medical devices and applying your existing expertise to great use
  • Work in a Close Team with Electrical, Mechanical, Software, and Test Engineers, concepting, designing, debugging, and analyzing
  • Develop New Products from concept to commercialization, be part of creating new medical devices and electromechanical products
  • Manage Schedule and Budgets by keeping design projects moving forward toward fast and successful completion
  • Be In the Mix on Technical Challenges by contacting the customer and internal team for efficient resolution
  • Foster A Collaborative, team problem-solving culture
  • Demonstrate Tact and Maturity when dealing with a wide variety of people, act as a mature, stabilizing influence

Position Details:
  • This is a full-time, permanent position. This position works from our Kansas City based office during core business hours.

Required skills to have for the success of this role:
  • Ability to lead a team of engineers and designers to deliver on product development commitments
  • Degree in a relevant engineering background (e.g Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical, Software)
  • Experience in new product development with a demonstrable record of bringing product to market
  • A few years of experience in new product development (as engineer or technical lead)
  • Demonstrated experience and success in leading medium and large, sophisticated projects/programs
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated abilities to flourish in a fast paced, problem-solving environment.

Nice to Haves:
  • Medical device experience is preferred but any product development experience is applicable.
