The Opportunity

Saint Luke's North, in Kansas City, Missouri is looking for a Manager of Environmental Services. The manager of environmental services has full accountability and responsibility for directing all environmental services operations. This position is a member of the hospital leadership team and responsible for the direct supervision of the ES leadership group and hourly staff. The Manager of EVS develops people to provide exceptional service and a safe environment while maximizing financial outcomes. This manager position develops plans to achieve set financial customer satisfaction and employee retention goals. It ensures adherence of departmental policies and procedures, addressing clean and safe environments, regulatory requirements, emergency management personnel performance, product safety, and inventory control. The Manager of Environmental Services oversees staff selection, orientation training, proper work assignments, and scheduling of staff. We are looking for someone who can respond to change and alter plans as needed, presents updates to plans, and provides explanations and solutions to variances. This position provides leadership and demonstrates behaviors that are consistent with our mission, vision, core values, and code of conduct.

The Shifts

The hours of this position varies based on the need of the department. The main hours of this position are Monday-Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM. Needs may dictate coverage on weekends, holidays, evenings, or night shifts.
