Position Overview
JSET is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to support controls and mission-critical infrastructure projects throughout the Southeast and Midwest regions.
This is a field-based leadership role responsible for managing projects from startup through turnover while actively directing field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and project execution activities on active construction sites.
Project Managers at JSET are expected to be actively involved in the field, leading teams, solving problems, coordinating stakeholders, and driving project success from kickoff through closeout.
While a significant portion of work will support projects throughout the Atlanta region, candidates should be comfortable traveling to project sites throughout the Southeast and Midwest as project needs require.
What You'll Do
  • Lead controls and data center construction projects from startup through turnover
  • Direct and manage field technicians, foremen, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Establish daily and weekly priorities for field teams
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and project performance
  • Coordinate manpower planning, material procurement, and resource allocation
  • Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project requirements
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, billing, and project documentation
  • Track project risks, resolve field issues, and drive timely decision-making
  • Conduct regular jobsite walks and actively manage project execution in the field
  • Support commissioning, startup, and turnover activities
  • Maintain safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
  • Utilize Procore and other project management tools to maintain project visibility and documentation

  • Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and cost tracking
  • Experience utilizing Procore or similar construction management software
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability and willingness to travel based on project needs
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS), Building Management Systems (BMS), or Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS)
  • Experience managing data center, mission-critical, industrial, or electrical construction projects
  • Experience supporting commissioning and startup activities
