\n The Process Engineer is responsible for erection, commissioning and start\-up of SCR Projects as required. This individual must be familiar with all major subsystems of copper and aluminum rod mills sold to Southwire's customers. Responsibilities include supervision of others, site project management, planning, scheduling, budget conformity, coordination with customer and sub\-suppliers, erection and start\-up supervision.

\n Duties and Responsibilities:<\/b>

  • Supervises installation and start\-up of SCR systems.
    <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Performs as a site engineer, engineering coordinator and start\-up engineer for systems.
    <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Develops new equipment and techniques including selection and evaluation of hardware and software.
    <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Transfers operating know how to SCR customers by training, publications, discussions, presentations and other forms of communication.
    <\/span><\/li>\n
  • This individual, because of vast experience with SCR, is often called upon to train new employees about the SCR process.
    <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Make suggestions on how to improve SCR equipment and processes.
    <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Answer the many and varied technical questions posed by our existing and prospective SCR customers and new employees.
    <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Produce daily progress reports during startups and field service visits.
    <\/span><\/li>\n
  • Write trip reports after customer visits.<\/span>

      • Minimum of 8 Years of process Engineering or Operations Management of Industrial processing systems,

      • Preferred experience with Combustion Management systems operation

      • Would like them to have experience with Molten metal processing systems

      • This is a very hands on Process Engineer position

      • International travel will be required up to 50% of the time.

        \n Knowledge of mechanical or chemical engineering and process engineering as obtained through a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial, electrical, mechanical or chemical engineering. Fluent in one of the following languages is not required but is a desirable attribute: Hindi, Chinese, Arabic or Russian.
