Job description

The Customer Success Engineering team works directly with clients and partners to ensure that every technical aspect of our product-installation, configuration, and customization-is delivered smoothly and at the highest standard. We act as technical consultants, helping clients solve complex and unique challenges. Our team is dynamic, persistent, and committed to delivering a world-class experience. If you're excited about being a client-facing engineer who makes a real impact, this is the opportunity for you.

You:

As a Professional Software Engineer in the Customer Success Department, you will serve as a technical consultant to our clients, ensuring our solutions align with their unique architectural and business needs. You will guide clients through complex integration and performance management strategies, leveraging your deep technical expertise in SQL, NoSQL, Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ). While you will advise on the installation and configuration of our platform, you will also apply your hands-on engineering skills to design and implement custom Java interfaces, web service integrations, and bespoke extensions for our Fraud Analysis platform. Working alongside Data Scientists, Project Managers, and Fraud Analysts, you will translate client challenges into robust, scalable technical requirements and remain actively involved in executing those requirements when specialized development is required.

Your Day to Day:

  • Consult with clients to define technical requirements and architectural approaches for custom integrations.
  • Develop high-quality, testable Java code for custom extensions and complex integrations when standard configurations do not meet specific client needs.
  • Diagnose complex performance and integration challenges, providing expert guidance and code-level solutions to ensure system stability.
  • Act as a strategic bridge between client business goals and technical execution, translating needs into efficient, scalable software solutions.
  • Contribute to and advocate for engineering best practices, ensuring that custom work remains maintainable and aligned with the core product roadmap.
  • Mentor, coach, and inspire other team members, helping foster best practices in software development and technical consulting.
  • Work with Agile principles to regularly deliver quality products.
  • Provide Second Tier support for live clients.

You Have & You Know-how:

  • A Bachelor of Science and/or a Master of Science in Computer Science, a degree in a comparable field, or equivalent work experience;
  • 2 + years of work experience in Java software development;
  • Thread and JVM Memory Management in high-performance systems;
  • Client engagement experience and ability to act as a consultant to our clients;
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Experience with Zookeeper, RabbitMQ, Cassandra, Ansible, Docker, and databases (nice to have).

The Customer Success Team is responsible for delivering our product to our clients. This includes configuration, solution development, and risk strategy to enable them to address their pain points. We collaborate with our clients to ensure they have the right solution, build out a strategy and training plan for them, and then support them through each phase of our client lifecycle. We grow at a fast clip and believe no challenge is too big or too small. Therefore, we have an open environment that encourages us to lean in, try new things, and discover our potential. Join us!
