Project Management Office Support

RELEX Solutions

Atlanta, GA โ€ข Hybrid

Full-time

Posted 20 days ago

Job description

Location: Atlanta, GA

The PMO Specialist is the operational backbone of RELEX's Global Project Management Office. This role owns the setup, maintenance, and lifecycle administration of customer project infrastructure across our core delivery toolchain - primarily Jira, OpenAir, and Smartsheet - enabling project managers, consultants, and delivery leaders to operate efficiently from project kick-off through to continuous service handover.ย

Acting as the primary support interface for delivery teams globally, the PMO Specialist resolves tooling requests, maintains data integrity across systems, and drives process improvements to reduce manual overhead at scale.ย

What you'll be doing:ย ย

As a Project Management Office (PMO) Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing support to end users within the customer operations department. Your responsibilities will include:ย

Project & System Administrationย

  • Set up, configure, and maintain Jira continuous service and implementation projects - including customer organizations, user access, SLA configuration, and automation rulesย
  • Create and manage projects in OpenAir, including resource assignments, project hierarchies, and hour transfers between projectsย
  • Maintain Smartsheet project records in sync with Jira and OpenAir throughout the project lifecycleย
  • Execute customer re-namings and transitions across all systems (Jira, OpenAir, Customer DB, BI reporting) in coordination with Accounts Receivable and the BI teamย

Project Lifecycle Supportย

  • Support project creation at kick-off and closure at go-live, including pre-closure handover requests to the support teamย
  • Maintain and update project templates (standard implementation and partner-primed) as processes evolveย
  • Manage partner project manager access to OpenAir on RELEX-primed projectsย
  • Coordinate ticket routing and automation setup for hybrid implementation/support scenarios at project handoverย

Stakeholder Support & Serviceย

  • Serve as the first-line response to the global #help-global-pmo channel, triaging and resolving tooling and system requests from project managers and delivery leadersย
  • Provide clear guidance on PMO scope, escalation paths, and relevant forms/portals for requests outside PMO ownershipย
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams - AR, BI, RELEX Support, and Partner Success - to resolve multi-system issuesย

Process Improvement & Automationย

  • Identify and implement automation opportunities within Jira to reduce manual administration (e.g., automatic assignees, ticket routing, SLA triggers)ย
  • Contribute to the PMO team's automation roadmap, including automating monthly clock and reporting activitiesย
  • Maintain process documentation and update knowledge base articles as systems and workflows changeย
  • Adapt PMO processes, documentation, and system configurations as business priorities and organization needs evolveย

What you'll bring to the table:ย ย

  • 2+ years of experience in a systems administration, PMO support, project coordination, or operations roleย
  • Strong proficiency with Jira - project configuration, service desks, automation rules, and user/organization management preferredย
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain data integrity across multiple systems simultaneouslyย
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to high-volume, process-driven workย
  • Clear, professional written communication in English - able to guide stakeholders to the right process or resource efficientlyย
  • Service mindset: responsive, thorough, and committed to quality across a high volume of requestsย
  • Adaptability and comfort working in an evolving environment - able to adjust priorities, learn new systems and process quickly, and translate changing organization needs into practical ways of workingย

What we consider as an advantage:ย ย

  • Experience with OpenAir or similar PSA/time-tracking platformsย
  • Experience with Claude, ChatGPT, or similar AI toolsย
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet or comparable project tracking toolsย
  • Experience in a global SaaS or professional services environmentย
  • Exposure to Jira automation rules, advanced workflows, or Jira Service Management administrationย
  • Comfort with process mapping and identifying automation opportunities in repetitive administrative workflowsย

What we offer:

RELEX Solutions is a fast-growing global leader in unified supply chain and retail planning. You'll join a collaborative, international team where operational excellence is genuinely valued - not just as a support function, but as a strategic enabler of delivery quality.ย

  • A high-impact role at the operational heart of a global delivery organizationย
  • A team that is actively investing in automation and tooling modernizationย
  • Flexible hybrid working from Helsinki or London or Atlantaย
  • Competitive compensation, benefits, and genuine opportunities for professional developmentย
