Ensuring Chart's Success...
Chart Industries, now a part of Baker Hughes, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager, Project Manager. Incorporating AdEdge™, BlueInGreen® and Howden, ChartWater™ provides the most efficient and cost-effective products and solutions for today's treatment challenges across municipal, waste and industrial water, rivers, lakes and other waterways.
What Will You Do?
In this role, the manager will direct, lead, and oversee the efficient operation of the Project Management team, ensuring the on-time delivery of products built to specification while maintaining or improving cash flow and margins. The successful candidate will develop the team's project management capabilities and drive continuous improvement in project execution and scheduling processes to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery. Additionally, this role will manage the Chart-client relationship, building strong rapport and credibility to support the successful delivery of engineered-to-order projects.
• Provide leadership, motivation and strategic direction to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the project management team.
• Provide clear communication to the team in relation to required goals, responsibilities, performance expectations and feedback.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement strategies within the department, and the business as a whole, to maintain or increase project margins, improve OTD and cash performance using robust operational processes.
• Drive financial performance in line with commitments. Identify, evaluate, report and seek to minimize any negative financial variance and ensure cash flow commitments are maintained.
• Own and lead project execution scope management, risk management, and resource management. Drive accountability and ownership of this within the project team and the wider business. Ensure that project risks and opportunities are identified well ahead of time and are mitigated and realized respectively.
• In partnership with Commercial and cross-functional teams, manage the resolution of contractual and commercial issues and disputes.
• Ensure that departmental standards and processes are maintained and updated in line with industry developments and are applied at all times.
• Monitor and report on the KPI's in area of responsibility and review actions and workflow accordingly.
• Interact and respond to all aspects of Chart Business Excellence (CBE) supporting cost reduction, efficiency, delivery, COPQ and quality improvements.
• Ensure adherence to Health and Safety standards in compliance with Company policy to ensure safe working environment
This is a Hybrid position.

Your Experience Should Be...
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or managerial role
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Proven experience with project management methodologies, tools, and execution practices
• Experience managing project teams in a customized, engineered-to-order environment
• Strong commercial and financial acumen
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence
• Experience managing budgets and financial controls in an engineering environment
• Commitment to continuous improvement initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
• 10+ years of project management experience
• Experience with Water Treatment Technology or similar equipment
• Experience working in a matrix organization with indirect leadership responsibilities
• Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
