Job Summary

As the manager of the Voluntary Benefits business project management team, you will provide leadership and oversight of projects and project managers to provide efficient and effective delivery of Voluntary Benefits priority projects using proven methodologies. You will be responsible for managing the work environment, identifying workforce needs, and ensuring team alignment with Voluntary Benefits strategic priorities and goals.

  • Provide hands-on team leadership, coaching and employee development. Responsible for ensuring effective performance management practices are in place.

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve project management framework.

  • Build relationships with business leaders to understand business objectives and priorities to maximize productivity on projects through effective resource assignments, training, monitoring and coaching to ensure resources and processes deliver consistent value and experiences.

  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes with emphasis on quality, delivery, and customer service. Lead discussions with key business stakeholders on project performance to maximize effectiveness and achieve desired outcomes.

Skills and Background You'll Need

Experience:

  • A minimum of 6-7 years of progressive experience as a project manager leading projects that are advanced in operational expertise is required.

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a project management leadership position is required.

  • Prior voluntary benefits experience or EB experience is highly preferred.

  • Waterfall and Agile methodologies experience is preferred.

  • MS Project proficiency is preferred.

  • Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on a variety of factors including individual and organizational performance.

The actual compensation for this role will be based on a combination of education and experience, knowledge and skills, position budget, internal equity, and market data.

Salary Range:

$79,250.00 - $126,750.00
