Main duties and responsibilities During the Leadership Training program, participants acquire management skills (leadership, teambuilding, interpersonal), technical skills (production management controls, operational processes, and metrics) as well as contribute to the organization through projects to improve production, reduce waste, or process improvement.

The Operations Leadership Trainee participates in an intensive program of approximately 12 months duration which includes rotations through various roles within the assigned facility. The Operations Leadership Trainee is expected to be prepared for a leadership role upon completion of the program. Requirements Bachelor's Degree with either of the following preferred majors: Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or other related field Excellent attendance record.

Ability to exercise good judgment in setting priorities and follow-through in a fast-paced results-oriented environment Strong desire to learn the manufacturing process, develop leadership capabilities and possess desire to process in the Kronospan organization Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills Capability to prioritize work activities, assignments, demands and flexibility to adapt to change Strong analytical skills Demonstrated excellent work ethic, strong time management and organizational skills Must be able to work flexible hours and be available based on the needs of the business. This may include rotating shifts, nights and/or weekends.
