Northrop Grumman Defense Systems TGE is looking for a Business Lead to support the business functions within Deployment Product Team.
The primary objective of the position is to support the TGE Product Management Team in the successful execution of cost, schedule, and technical performance in the delivery of products and services to the customer. Business Lead reports to the TGE Product Team Manager within the TGE organization, and will also serve as the Lead for execution of program task; primary responsibilities include the management and oversight to the following critical functions:
Team Leadership & Functional Management (20%)
  • Support staffing strategy and requisition planning in collaboration with hiring teams.
  • Conduct candidate selection, conduct interviews, and approve with hiring decisions.
  • Manage career development, goal-setting, performance reviews, and merit planning for direct reports.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and discipline when needed, to support team growth and performance.
  • Facilitate access to tools, hardware, and resources needed for employee success.
  • Deliver regular organizational updates and represent leadership across programs and teams.

Business Analysis (80%)
  • Lead Product team special projects and process improvement initiatives
  • Assist with CUAS Deployment Product Team Operations management, program execution, and external coordination
  • Lead product team with routine financial reporting and estimation
  • Produces and communicates abstract, distilled representations of real world situations to inform decision making, tailoring the communication style to the requirements of the audience.
  • Ensures proposed implementation of change aligns with the user needs and will deliver the desired outcomes

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 6 years of experience. 12 years of related experience in lieu of a degree
  • 1+ year of experience leading technical projects or teams with schedule accountability.
  • Demonstrated experience with EVM or Cost production project management.
  • Hands-on experience with networking technologies or CUAS C2 Systems
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Active Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP certified Project Management Professional
  • Prior success in recruiting and developing engineering teams.
  • Proven ability to represent organizational capabilities to customers and stakeholders.
  • Experience with U.S. Government contracts or defense systems.

Primary Level Salary Range: $105,000.00 - $157,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
