Job description

ProTech Services currently seeks an immediate need for an IS Project Manager working with our local Memphis client.


This contract position is expected to last 8 - 12 months.


Description To manage complex infrastructure and development projects. This role will be overseeing projects involving hardware installations and cloud environments. The PM will be responsible for coordinating deployments in multiple facilities.


Core Requirements

  • Education: Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university in a related business or technical specialty.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of relevant project management experience across multiple domains.
  • Certification: Hold an active PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
  • Infrastructure Expertise: A proven track record of managing infrastructure installations, specifically involving HPC hardware and data center environments.
  • DevOps Proficiency: Direct experience managing DevOps-related projects and workflows.
  • Communication: Exceptional collaboration and presentation skills are required to interact with executive stakeholders, front-line management, and system users.
  • Change Management: High level of professionalism and change management savvy to influence stakeholders and navigate trade-offs regarding scope and requirements.
  • Location: Local candidates in the Memphis area are highly recommended and preferred. This position require a week a month on site.


Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Technical Environment: Experience with Cloud technologies (Azure), Networking, Virtualization, and HPC environments.
  • AI Integration: Experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to optimize project management workflows, or previous experience managing AI-related research projects.
  • Tooling: Proficiency with ServiceNow PPM is highly preferred for project tracking, along with familiarity with Azure DevOps or JIRA.
