Mac Properties is a dynamic and growing private residential real estate company with operations in the metropolitan areas of Chicago, St. Louis, New Jersey, and Kansas City.
We are hiring a Resident Services Intern in Chicago, IL! The pay rate is $18/hour. 

Overall Responsibility:
 

Provide best-in-class customer service to maximize resident satisfaction and attract new residents, handle escalations, as well as mentor the resident service team to success. 

 Essential Functions:  

  • Deliver prompt and courteous service by phone, email, chat, and in person.
  • Coordinate special projects with residents such as new initiatives and capital projects.
  • Inspecting apartments, testing keys, scheduling freight elevators.
  • Assist resident services with move in and renewal tasks.
  • Demonstrate initiative, personal awareness, professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all areas of job performance. Project a professional image and demeanor.
  • Understand, apply, and comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

 Required Skills/Experience and Education: 

  • Must have a car with insurance.
  • Positive, energetic, and outgoing personality who enjoys interactions with customers.
  • Strong computer skills. Experience with Salesforce preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to effectively control and/or participate in multiple projects of varying priorities in a fast-paced environment in a consistently professional manner.
  • Commitment to outstanding customer service and to compliance with Fair Housing laws and regulations.
