an American multinational corporation and e-commerce company, providing consumer-to-consumer and business-to-consumer sales services via the internet. It is headquartered in San Jose,California. Became a notable success story of the dot-com bubble. Today it is a multibillion-dollar business with operations localized in over 30 countries.

Job Description

Our client has decided to implement a new cloud based procurement solution. A team will be assembled to manage the implementation which should be completed by Q2 2017. Our consultant will lead blueprint sessions with cross functional teams, document business process flows, collect requirements, conduct solution analysis, spearhead change management, serving as the client's advocate with the activities, generate training and lead end-user testing. It is anticipated the Project Manager will be engaged throughout the entire implementation until its completion.

The consultant should have experience with full lifecycle implementations for an enterprise of Ariba, Coupa or other cloud based procurement solutions. In addition, the consultant should have Source to Pay experiences drawn from working with Procurement organizations and a functional knowledge of financial processes.

In addition, client may request that the consultant be available immediately for other Source-to-Pay short-term projects, (limited in scope) as the implementation team is formed and begins its activities.

Responsibilities of the Project Manager

  • Document process flows
  • Collect requirements from end users
  • Lead end user testing
  • Comfortably lead meetings of cross functional teams
  • Conduct solution analysis
  • Work with the Change Management team to ensure all related issues are addressed, i.e. training and providing relevant information for communications to all affected stakeholders
  • Ongoing interactions with the client's Systems Integrator and IT team throughout implementation
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all requested documentation
  • Deliver presentations to various levels of management as necessary

Education/Requirements:

  • Very strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and adept at learning new tools and applications
  • Full life cycle implementation experience of enterprise systems, preferably in the cloud and in procurement space - ideally with Ariba, Coupa or other cloud based procurement solutions when deployed at an enterprise wide level
    Strong overall functional knowledge of Finance processes
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to understand and express complex topics.
  • Analytical thinker with strong business acumen, ability to summarize data into clear and concise recommendations for strategic decision support.
  • Core intelligence, communication skills, willingness to learn, and ability to follow through on everything are essential.
  • BS/BA degree a must, MBA is a plus
  • Experience with leading/running blueprint sessions with cross functional teams, and leading business testing activities
  • Strong project management experience
