Job Title

Director Project Management

The Opportunity

The Director Project Management is responsible for directing the Strategic Project Management office to analyze; define; gain management approval; and implement key strategic programs. Leads and manages high impact change programs that significantly improve the productivity of the division.

What You'll Work On

Works with Senior and executive management to develop high impact improvement strategies.

Creates operational cost models to support analysis and management of Division goals.

Performs bench marking and cost structure analysis to define significant opportunities for improvement.

Establishes sustaining processes to continuously assess (cost/capacity evaluation) and modeling for GMI projects globally across the P&L.

Manage the monthly IBP review cycle; responsible to ensure each of the IBP reporting business process streams are aligned and reconciled with the Division Financial Plan.

Implement standardized project planning and control processes and ensure tools are effectively used across all internal and third party strategic programs in accordance with the quality system including timelines; milestones; and budgets.

Budgetary: Manage program budget; negotiates & risk adjust budget estimates with internal and external stakeholders through all stages of the funding process (Plan; UPD and LRP). Manage partner Statements of Work, contracts and licensing agreements.

Yearly program budgetary responsibility. Reports to Senior Director or DVP.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • 12+ years' experience in experience in operations, supply chain, management, engineering and/or financial management.
  • 5+ years in project management leadership roles
  • 5+ years experience working within a highly regulated industry

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters degree preferred
  • Experience implementing and managing large change management programs preferred.
