In this role, you will be a key partner to project teams and subcontractors, helping ensure labor compliance documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready. ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY: We are seeking a proactive Project Compliance Administrator to support prevailing wage and labor compliance across assigned construction projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, follow-through, and communication. You will help manage certified payroll documentation, support subcontractor compliance, maintain audit-ready records, and work closely with the Project Controller to keep compliance processes moving efficiently and accurately.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Keep compliance documentation organized and on schedule

  • Track and collect weekly certified payroll, pay stubs, and timesheets from subcontractors
  • Maintain organized project documentation in designated systems (Box, SharePoint, or equivalent)
  • Ensure all required compliance documents are received, complete, and properly filed by project, subcontractor, and reporting period

Support certified payroll review and follow-up

  • Assist in reviewing certified payroll submissions for completeness and accuracy
  • Verify alignment with applicable labor classifications, wage rates, and hours worked under the Project
  • Identify missing information, inconsistencies, or errors and communicate required corrections
  • Track payroll submission and review status to ensure timely completion

Track apprenticeship compliance requirements

  • Track apprentice labor hours and total labor hours by project and subcontractor
  • Maintain documentation supporting apprenticeship requirements, including:
    • Participation requirements
    • Apprentice-to-journey worker ratios
    • Registered apprenticeship program documentation
  • Assist in identifying potential compliance gaps and escalate issues as needed

Partner with subcontractors and project teams

  • Provide guidance and support to subcontractors regarding:
    • Document submission requirements
    • Missing or incomplete information
    • Required corrections

WHAT MAKES YOU A STRONG FIT:

Education/Certification:

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Required Knowledge & Experience:

  • 1–3 years of experience in project administration, project coordination, compliance support, or a related administrative role.
  • Possess excellent computer skills utilizing MS Office products (Excel, Outlook, Sharepoint), LCP Tracker.
  • Experience in construction, EPC, engineering, installation, or another project-based environment preferred.
