Job Summary:

As a Marketing Intern focused on Corporate Events, this role will play a key position in helping the marketing team plan, organize, and execute impactful company and customer events. This intern collaborate across marketing, sales, and operations to source top-tier venues, hotels, and vendors; manage event logistics and registrations; and keep complex projects running smoothly from start to finish. The marketing intern will assist in managing vendor communications before, during, and after events to ensure smooth execution and follow-up.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Source and request proposals from hotels, event venues, catering companies, transportation providers, and other vendors.
  • Assist in vendor selection, negotiation, and contract coordination to ensure high-quality event experiences.
  • Assist and maintain event registration systems, including attendee communications, data accuracy, and reporting.
  • Support project management of multiple concurrent events - tracking timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Support and organize logistics such as travel, accommodations, and transportation lists for attendees and staff.
  • Maintain detailed event documentation, ensuring all moving parts are aligned across teams and vendors.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to confirm event needs, branding standards, and guest experiences are met.
  • Manage vendor communications before, during, and after events to ensure smooth execution and follow-up.
  • Assist with on-site event coordination and post-event reporting, including metrics and vendor feedback.
  • Support the Corporate Events team in developing materials and messaging to promote events.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing (preferred)
  • Ability to work in-office 10-15 hours per week
  • Effective project management skills
  • Computer proficient with Microsoft Excel, Monday.com, Outlook.

Base Compensation: $15/hour. Compensation is determined based on competitive market data, experience, skillset and geographical location.
