What this Department does:

The Project Management department manages all the capital projects for Tallgrass including natural gas, hydrogen and ammonia transportation, and CO2 sequestration.

The fine print:

Our internships are temporary full-time positions, in-person at our Houston, TX. office. We will host our Summer 2027 interns from May-August for 10 weeks. 

 Compensation And Other Benefits

  • Pay Range $26.18-$37.09 USD hourly
  • The final pay for this role will depend on a variety of factors, including a specific candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and working location. The total compensation package for this role may also include; paid time off, a housing stipend, and more.

What will you do:

The selected candidates will work in the Tallgrass Capital Project Assurance department. The intern's main responsibility will be to support the Capital Project Assurance Director in the day-to-day activities associated with managing large capital project assurance. You will become part of the project assurance team. 

You can expect to:

  • Work at a high level within a functioning project management department and support defining project execution strategies, reviewing project data and analytics, and developing tools related to detailed design and project execution.
  • Review and audit third-party engineering deliverables and project management activities
  • Assist in preparation of project assurance reports and ad hoc tasks as requested by the project team

You will learn:

The intern will learn the basic tasks of running a large capital project and be exposed to the decision-making processes of project engineering and project management.
