Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our innovative team at Heal Life Mental Health Clinic. This full-time position will be primarily remote, enabling you to provide high-quality therapeutic services from the comfort of your own home while contributing to the well-being of clients in need of support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to diagnose patients accurately and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families through engaging sessions that incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused techniques, and other evidence-based practices.
  • Monitor and document patient progress regularly, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary in conjunction with evidence-based guidelines.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions, promoting interaction and peer support among participants, while encouraging open communication.
  • Maintain clear and respectful communication with patients, colleagues, and associated professionals, ensuring a cohesive treatment approach.
  • Offer guidance and support in coping strategies for mental health challenges, helping clients foster resilience and achieve enhanced wellbeing.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a broad demographic of clients, including adults, adolescents, couples, and families grappling with a range of issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and addiction recovery. The client-centered approach is imperative in effectively addressing their unique needs and empowering them towards healthier life choices.

Qualifications
  • Current and valid LMFT license in the state of Texas.
  • A Master's or Ph.D. degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong theoretical understanding of family systems theory and therapeutic models relevant for diverse client backgrounds.
  • Familiarity with telehealth systems and the ability to adapt therapeutic practices for a virtual environment.
Preferred Experience
  • Certifications related to addiction therapy or extensive experience supporting clients through addictive disorders.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based treatments designed for co-occurring disorders and the ability to implement these in clinical practice.

Compensation and Benefits
