Senior Finance Associate
Cherry Bekaert Recruiting & Staffing is partnered with a well-established renewable energy developer, owner, and operator managing a national portfolio of energy projects. This role offers hands-on exposure to financial modeling, transaction execution, and project-level analysis within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Title: Senior Finance Associate
Compensation: $100K-$120K base + bonus
Location: Arlington, VA (Hybrid)
Position Overview
This role supports the execution of renewable energy transactions, with a focus on financial modeling, due diligence, and deal support across solar and storage projects.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain financial models for solar and energy storage projects
  • Support due diligence and transaction execution across financings
  • Assist in structuring project financing (tax equity, debt, and other capital sources)
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including investors and lenders
  • Analyze project economics, risks, and expected returns
  • Prepare investor materials, approval documentation, and financial analysis outputs
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 2-5+ years of experience in project finance, investment banking, or renewable energy
