Project Engineer - Data Center
Location: Juno Beach, Florida (Onsite)
Role Overview
An opportunity is available for a Project Engineer to support data center power projects. This role is responsible for managing all technical aspects of projects, from due diligence through completion. The position involves supporting internal stakeholders, managing external engineering resources, coordinating internal engineering support, and providing technical leadership throughout project execution. This role makes decisions and recommendations that have a significant impact on major engineering and related project activities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level oversight of engineering and project execution.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage all technical aspects of projects from due diligence through project completion.
  • Support internal stakeholders and manage external engineering resources and deliverables.
  • Coordinate internal engineering resources and subject matter expert support.
  • Provide technical leadership throughout project execution.
  • Resolve complex technical issues to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Negotiate technical and regulatory requirements and influence executive-level project decisions.
  • Act as the technical authority on engineering standards, practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Guide engineering strategies and solve complex challenges.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor of Science in Engineering is required.
Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience is required. This includes planning, designing, and executing large-scale energy projects. Advanced experience in system integration and risk management is necessary for project success.
Skills: Candidates must possess communication, leadership, and project management skills. The ability to perform in a fast-paced environment is required. Driving will be required as part of the position duties.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A Professional Engineering (PE) certification is preferred.
  • Experience supporting infrastructure, power, or mission-critical projects is preferred.
  • A background in data centers or power delivery is preferred.
