Project Engineer (EI or PE)

Location: West Palm Beach, FL

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer (EI or PE) to join a growing engineering team. This position is ideal for an individual in the early stages of their engineering career who is eager to expand their technical expertise while contributing to infrastructure, water resources, municipal, and land development projects throughout South Florida.

The ideal candidate is technically strong, collaborative, and capable of managing assigned tasks with increasing independence while supporting Project Managers and senior technical staff across a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the planning, design, and preparation of civil engineering construction documents

  • Support project teams in the development of municipal and private development projects

  • Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and permitting documentation

  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies and assist with permitting processes

  • Perform quantity take-offs and support cost estimating efforts

  • Participate in project meetings, field investigations, and coordination with clients and consultants

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions

  • Support project schedules, deadlines, and deliverables in a fast-paced consulting environment

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited university

  • Environmental Engineering and Mechanical Engineering graduates with relevant experience and strong interest in civil engineering will also be considered

  • Engineer Intern (EI) certification required

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure preferred

  • 0-6 years of relevant engineering experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
