We are currently seeking a Project Engineer to support operations in Key West, FL. This position is contingent on contract award, with an expected start date in May 2026. This is a full-time position requiring an active DoD Secret Clearance.
This position may be subject to the Service Contract Labor Standards Act (SCLS)/Service Contract Act (SCA).
What You'll Do
As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting lifecycle logistics management and maintaining reliable network and system operations for mission-critical assets, that serve U.S. government missions. This role falls under Project Engineer within our compensation framework. You will:
  • Performs life cycle logistics management duties for GFP/physical assets. Provides primary Network Administrator site support.
  • Directs, coordinates, and functionally heads planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility.
  • Plans and formulates engineering program.
  • Assigns project personnel to specific phases or aspects of project, such as technical studies, product design, preparation of specifications and technical plans, and product testing, in accordance with engineering disciplines of staff.
  • Reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.
  • Directs integration of technical activities and products.
  • Evaluates and approves design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.
  • Controls expenditures within limitations of project budget.
  • Prepares interim and completion project reports.

  • Education & Experience:
    • HS Diploma or GED
    • Experience with network administration and/or lifecycle logistics support
  • Certifications:
    • IAT Level II
    • Must have a current and active DoD Secret security clearance.
    • Proficient with modern IT tools and infrastructure technologies

Travel & Passport
  • Some overnight stays possible.
  • Must have an active passport to support OCONUS travel and/or living requirements.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements
  • Periods of prolonged sitting and/or standing, including desk-based computer work.
  • Travel between work locations, including company offices, customer sites, and government installations.
  • Occasional extended work hours, including evenings or weekends, as needed.
  • Transport and use of work equipment, such as laptops and job-related tools, during site visits.
  • Work is performed in a secure facility where personal electronic devices (including Bluetooth- or Wi-Fi-enabled devices) may be restricted.
  • Physical activities may include bending, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials, consistent with established one-person lift guidelines.
  • Use of tools, equipment, and machinery as required for the role.
  • Communication with team members, customers, and stakeholders through verbal and written methods.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, work under deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Interaction with others in dynamic environments, including situations requiring problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • Compliance with applicable medical or travel requirements for certain assignments, including domestic or international travel, as required by governing authorities.
