Job description

The Project Engineer will support the Ground Production Operations Integrated Product Team (IPT) in day to day program execution across the LRHW program. This role serves as a key integrator between Ground Production, Engineering, and other IPTs, ensuring coordination, communication, and execution of production-related activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced development and production environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as the Ground Production Operations IPT representative at various program meetings such as Engineering Review Board (ERB) and Change Control Board (CCB) meetings.
- Support preparation, review, and coordination of engineering changes, production updates, and configuration-controlled documentation.
- Develop, maintain, and deliver weekly status files and program-level updates for leadership visibility.
- Act as the focal point for new production requests originating from other IPTs, ensuring proper routing, evaluation, and closure.
- Track and manage action items, risks, opportunities, issues, and cross-team dependencies related to Ground Production efforts.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Program Management to support production readiness and execution.
- Support development and maintenance of production schedules, metrics, and performance indicators.
- Assist with process improvements, workflow coordination, and data-driven decision-making across the IPT.
- Ensure compliance with program requirements, configuration management processes, and internal engineering guidelines.
