Job description

The Project Engineer, supporting the filter business product line, will coordinate, direct, and implement functional authority for planning, organizing, control, integration, and completion of projects. They will design, develop, and provide technical support to product lines.
You will make an impact in this role by:
  • Providing technical support to Sales, Marketing, and Manufacturing Departments
  • Reviewing sales and marketing information and/or customer requirements and advise on feasibility and estimated cost of the potential products.
  • Participating in the development of product catalogs and promotional literature.
  • Developing assembly and detail drawings, conceptual designs, Bills of Materials and perform respective hydraulic, stress and kinematics analysis.
  • Working with Lab personnel on product performance and verification tests, conducts tests if needed and analyze test results.
  • Checking drawings and design work as needed.
  • Assisting the Materials Department in the selection of vendors.
  • Establishing product acceptance criteria.
  • Working with vendors to ensure the most economical manufacturing processes and tooling.
  • Assisting the Quality Department in the development of Procedures and Work Instructions.
  • Assisting the Sales Department in solving field problems, clarifying customer requirements and technical product support.

Requirements
To be considered for the Project Engineer role, you must have the following minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
  • 1-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Preferred experience includes:
  • SAP
  • SolidWorks
  • Fluid flow experience
  • ASME
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
