Position Description
PALA Interstate, LLC
Summary
Directs, coordinates and exercises functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration and completion of tank drawing and shop fabrication projects with area of assigned responsibility. This position reports to the Engineering Manager.
Organizational skills are required in this fast pace environment to achieve these expectations.
Essential Functions
1. Perform tank calculations.
2. Work with Cad operators to complete tank drawings.
3. Fill out requisitions for purchasing of materials for tank fabrication.
4. Create cut sheets for shop fabrication.
5. Perform field tank measurement surveys.
Qualification Standards:
1. Experience in AutoCAD and Inventor. One Year Minimum.
2. Knowledge of API 650 / 653
3. Proficient user of Excel and creating spreadsheets.
4. Pass drug screen.
Position Requirements
  • Five years of field experience or degree in construction management/engineering.
  • Experience with Inventor and AutoCAD R14 or higher.
  • Must have a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, Internet and email applications.
  • Knowledge of Tank Fabrication
  • Must maintain a valid Driver's License and meet appropriate motor vehicle insurance requirements.
