Project Engineer - Advanced Manufacturing

A growing precision manufacturing organization is seeking a Project Engineer to lead new product launches and manufacturing projects from concept through production release. This role will focus on process development, tooling coordination, customer requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives within a high-performance manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, quality, and cost objectives are achieved.

  • Coordinate tooling, fixtures, gauging, routings, and manufacturing processes for new product introductions.

  • Support advanced manufacturing programs within aerospace, defense, medical, or automotive sectors.

  • Work closely with quality and production teams to resolve technical issues and improve manufacturing performance.

  • Develop and optimize casting, heat treatment, and secondary machining processes.

  • Review customer drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure manufacturability and compliance.

  • Assist with supplier coordination, subcontracted operations, and production readiness activities.

  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and support plant operational goals.

  • Provide technical guidance during critical production or troubleshooting situations.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.

  • Experience in titanium manufacturing, investment casting, or precision metal components required.

  • Background supporting aerospace and/or defense manufacturing environments preferred.

  • Knowledge of tooling design, machining practices, GD&T, and quality systems.

  • Familiarity with CAD software and manufacturing process development.
