Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Tooling Engineer to join our team in Fort Recovery, OH. This high-impact technical leadership role focuses on developing, optimizing, and continuously improving die casting manufacturing processes to boost productivity, quality, safety, and overall efficiency. Your expertise will directly contribute to increasing output, reducing costs, and elevating product excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work with a cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges, eliminate waste, and drive contiguous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize die casting manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency and profitability.
  • Continuously improve processes to enhance productivity, quality, and safety standards.
  • Implement advanced manufacturing processes and technologies to drive innovation.
  • Identify and eliminate waste through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide expert technical support and rapid troubleshooting to resolve process issues on the floor.
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions with cross-functional teams.
  • Oversee tooling including molds, dies, fixtures, and gauges — ensuring they perform at peak levels.
  • Provide high-impact technical leadership to support manufacturing goals and objectives.
  • Analyze process data and metrics to inform decision-making and process adjustments.
  • Manage projects from concept to completion, delivering on specification, on time, and on budget.
  • Train and mentor production teams on new processes, equipment, and best practices.
Qualifications amp; Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in die casting manufacturing process development and optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of advanced manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proven experience working with product design for manufacturability (existing and new designs).
  • Strong background with tools such as molds, dies, fixtures, and gauges.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
