Job Summary

We are seeking a Compression Molding Operator to join our manufacturing team in Cleveland, OH. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience and be comfortable working in a production environment. This role is responsible for setting up mold tooling and materials, operating molding presses, inspecting molded products, and performing finishing activities while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Set up required mold tooling and materials according to work order instructions.
  • Operate compression molding presses safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload materials and finished molded parts.
  • Manually control molding processes using electronic controls and gauges.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality specifications.
  • Use various hand tools to unload and finish molded parts.
  • Trim and deburr parts using hand tools and shop routers.
  • Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet customer requirements.
  • Follow work orders, safety procedures, and production instructions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
  • Experience operating machinery or working with hand tools is a plus.
  • Ability to read and follow work orders and production instructions.
