ResponsibilitiesThe IT Solutions - Applications Development team is responsible for creating solutions by designing, developing, and maintaining software-based components and interfaces based on business requirements. The team utilizes a variety of hardware and software technologies, which may include new code construction, modifications to existing modules, and/or package implementations. They help move the business forward by delivering improved and updated services through software development and innovative techniques. This Co-op role will translate business and technical requirements into well-engineered, tested, and deployed business application systems. During the session, the Co-op will gain hands-on experience in areas such as analysis, design, development, testing, installation, and maintenance of both consumer-facing and back-office systems. They will also interface with customers and other developers to determine the most efficient and cost-effective approaches to meet business needs.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in a BA/BS, MS or PhD program or recent graduate in a related field.
  • Web Development technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM, JQuery, AJAX, REST, & JSON)
  • JavaScript frameworks and libraries (AngularJS, React Native, React, Vue, Node JS)
  • Build automation tools (GULP, Gradle and NPM)
  • DevOps and CICD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
  • Containerized deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, & Cloud deployment technologies
  • Unit test frameworks (JEST, Enzyme).
  • Mobile development (iOS and Android)
  • Relational and non-relational databases (SQL, MongoDB)
  • Ability to come up with creative technical ways to resolve application and system issues.
