Job description

Project Development is a sales-driven role responsible for growing Frontier Door & Cabinet's business by winning new customers and expanding relationships with existing accounts in the door and cabinet industry. This role involves prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing new project opportunities while nurturing long-term client relationships that generate repeat and referral business. The ideal candidate is a motivated sales professional with a strong background in business development, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the cabinet and door industry. This is a remote position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

New Business Development:

  • Identify, prospect, and pursue new customers, builders, contractors, and dealers to grow the company's project pipeline.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to win new door and cabinet projects.
  • Build a strong pipeline of qualified leads through networking, referrals, industry events, and outbound outreach.

Account Growth and Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Understand client needs and proactively identify opportunities to expand business within existing accounts.
  • Foster strong client relationships to drive repeat business, upsells, and referrals.

Proposal Development and Deal Closing:

  • Prepare and present compelling proposals, quotes, and pricing packages tailored to client needs.
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing to close deals while protecting profitability.
  • Collaborate with internal project managers and production teams to ensure sold projects are set up for successful delivery.

Sales Performance and Market Insight:

  • Track sales activity, pipeline status, and revenue performance against targets.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market pricing to inform sales strategy.
  • Provide feedback from the field to help shape product offerings and go-to-market approach.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or business development, must have substantial experience in multifamily doors or cabinets.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
