POSITION SUMMARY

Project Development will be responsible for overseeing and managing the development of new door and cabinet projects. This role involves collaborating with customers, project managers, and production teams to ensure successful project execution from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the cabinet and door industry. This is a remote position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Planning and Management:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including project managers and production, to align project objectives and deliverables.

Client Engagement and Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Understand client needs and expectations, providing expert advice and solutions.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
  • Allocate resources effectively, including materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Monitor project expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to manage risks effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Bachelorโ€™s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the cabinet and door industry.
