Job description

Job Duties
  • Serves as the primary technical resource for Account Executives and Regional Management
  • Translates the technical needs and wants of a customer into accurate, concrete solutions
  • Identifies facility energy consumption analysis and reduction strategies, capital improvements, and community infrastructure projects
  • Determines and presents written and schematic technical plans, financial models, cost savings analysis and creative, economical and technically sound technical solution to customer, internal team, sub-contractors
  • Identifies mechanical and operating inefficiencies within a facility; analyzes utility bills and other financials
  • Performs energy and operational savings calculations, energy and life cycle cost analysis and feasibility analysis of recommendations and associated risks;
  • Establishes guaranteed savings based on the measures proposed
  • Coordinates with other team members to ensure smooth, accurate, timely and on-budget progression of project
  • Ensures equipment meets the requirements of the project needs
  • Stays current on technology and regional legislation
  • Mentors other engineers
  • Performs related work as required
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum five years experience as an energy engineer and project development engineer
  • Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited or equivalent Engineering program, BSME/BSEEpreferred
  • PE, CEM, LEED or ASHRAE Certification preferred
