You will

  • Be an integral part of a team that manages the acquisition, planning, entitlement, and development of residential and industrial master-planned communities across the Calgary region
  • Own all the aspects of a land development project, from the big-picture community vision and financial pro forma to the gritty details of invoices, budgets, schedules, and government approvals.
  • Able to connect the dots so you can lead a team of multi-disciplinary consultants and contractors through the land development process while always seeking innovative solutions and efficiencies for better outcomes
  • Know how to collaborate both internally and externally to keep our projects on schedule, on budget, and on vision
  • Apply your knowledge of construction to facilitate weekly construction meetings to ensure projects are delivered safely and cost effectively
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience for both our business partners and our ultimate customers - the residents of our communities
  • Stay current on the housing market, including understanding the competitive environment
  • Represent the company at industry events, client events and stakeholder functions
  • Be a champion of finding new and better ways of doing things; continuous improvement is in your DNA

You have

  • A passion for the real estate industry and desire to join a best-in-class team to achieve results for Anthem and its partners
  • 8+ years of experience in land development and/or consulting experience
  • Post-secondary degree related to real estate industry required
  • Must have a thorough understanding of the land development process
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A valid Driver's License and access to a vehicle (parking provided).
