We're adding to our team!  We are seeking an Operational Excellence Director to lead the optimization of workflows and play a key role in the continuous improvement across all projects and operations. This role ensures alignment with industry best practices, including CSIA Best Practices, while driving consistent, high-quality delivery in automation and integration projects. 

You will:  

  • Ensure workflows meet E Tech Group and Business Unit quality policies, procedures, CSIA Best Practices, and applicable regulatory requirements. 
  • Conduct internal audits to evaluate adherence to standards, practical efficiency of associated tools, assess root-cause failure modes, and support corrective and preventive actions. 
  • Business Unit representative for E Tech's Continuous Improvement Committee, providing practical suggestions and solutions, communicating with Business Unit leadership.   
  • Analyze project execution workflows to identify and remove bottlenecks, directly improving project lead times and margin predictability. 
  • Identify and champion the use of digital tools and AI to automate repetitive administrative tasks, reducing 'process friction' for engineering teams. 
  • Represent the Business Unit for Customer and third party audits, including audit preparation, participation, response coordination, and follow up. 
  • Foster quality, consistency, and ongoing improvement across cross-functional teams. 
  • Support Corporate Continuous Improvement initiatives including development and review of policies and procedures. 
  • Lead Business Unit continuous improvement activities. 
  • Provide necessary supplemental training and guidance to the Business Uniton quality standards, procedures, and expectations. 
  • Provide support to improve the quality and effectiveness of the Learning Management System (LMS) 
  • Encourage collaboration, shared learning, and knowledge transfer across teams throughout the Company 
  • Collaborate with Sales, Application Engineering, and the Project Management Organization to support project risk assessments, and quality planning. 
  • Attend project reviews, as needed, and provide guidance to project teams for compliance with Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) and System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and other procedures during project execution. 
  • Interface with clients and third parties on quality related topics, including audits, vendor qualification, and compliance inquiries. 
  • Be an ambassador who embodies our Core Values, prioritizing the success of E Tech Group, our clients, and the professional development of our associates. 

You have:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Systems), or related technical field, or equivalent experience. 
  • Over seven years of experience in process improvement and engineering performance within technical, project-driven settings. Proven track record in supporting process optimization, waste reduction, quality assurance, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives in engineering or project environments. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence technical teams and stakeholders 
  • Experience working in automation, life sciences or other regulated industries, prefer knowledge of ISO 9001, GxP, GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, and Computer System Assurance (CSA). 
  • Experience supporting automation and control systems (PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI).
