Job description

EPMA is supporting a leading energy infrastructure client hiring a Project Engineer to drive capital growth projects across terminal and storage operations.
This is a high-impact role focused on turning project concepts into fully operational assets-working across engineering, operations, and commercial teams.
Title: Project Engineer
Location: Houston, TX (5 days onsite, 20% travel)
Duration: Long Term Contract
W2 Only
Responsibilities:
  • Lead CAPEX projects from concept through commissioning
  • Develop project scopes, cost estimates, schedules, and risk plans
  • Manage EPC/EPCM contractors and engineering deliverables
  • Oversee infrastructure including tanks, piping, pumps, and utilities
  • Partner with operations, HSSE, and commercial teams for execution
Experience Required:
  • 5-10 years in industrial or energy infrastructure projects
  • Experience in terminals, refineries, or petrochemical environments
  • Strong knowledge of tanks, piping systems, pumps, and utilities
  • Proven ownership of full project lifecycle delivery
  • Experience managing EPC/EPCM contractors
This role requires a hands-on, execution-focused mindset in a live operational (brownfield) environment.
