The Opportunity

The Digital Delivery Manager leads digital delivery across complex projects within an assigned region or sector and is responsible for consistent, high-quality project outcomes. This role assesses effort, develops project-specific delivery strategies, forecasts resource demand and supports proposals. The Digital Delivery Manager partners with project teams and Design Technology leadership to advance standards, delivery performance, staff development, and continuous improvement across PAE.

What You'll Do

  • Lead digital delivery across key projects within an assigned region or sector, ensuring alignment with project goals, schedules, deliverables, and quality expectations 
  • Provide technical authority and oversight for digital delivery across assigned area, ensuring digital execution approaches align with firm standards
  • Analyze scopes of work to assess digital delivery needs, estimate level of effort, forecast resource demand, and support project proposals 
  • Partner with Project Managers, discipline leaders, and firmwide Digital Delivery leadership to define scope and develop project-specific Digital Delivery Plans and delivery strategies 
  • Lead and manage the BIM group, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management, while promoting PAE’s culture and values
  • Guide project teams on digital workflows, model setup, coordination processes, and deliverable expectations throughout the project lifecycle 
  • Ensure consistent implementation of firmwide BIM standards, templates, content libraries, BIM Execution Plans, and digital delivery workflows across the assigned area 
  • Ensure compliance with applicable quality management benchmarks across digital delivery processes and project execution 
  • Manage project model environments and collaboration platforms, including ACC, BIM 360, Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and related tools 
  • Ensure project teams have the software, system access, and technical support needed to execute digital delivery requirements effectively 
  • Monitor model health, coordination quality, and delivery performance across projects to identify risks, track trends, and support corrective action 
  • Establish expectations, clarify accountability, and address risks that may affect quality, coordination, or milestone outcomes 
  • Serve as the point of contact and primary escalation point for digital delivery support within the assigned region or sector 
  • Coordinate staffing and align area demand with broader team resources in partnership with the Director of Design Technology and firmwide Digital Delivery leadership 
  • Support the growth of Digital Delivery staff and champion process improvement, digital innovation, and broader use of tools supporting Digital Engineering, Asset Data, and Digital Twins
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience 
  • 10+ years of BIM, digital delivery, or related experience in the AEC industry 
  • Demonstrated experience and success in people leadership and developing, coaching, and mentoring teams
  • Demonstrated success leading digital delivery on complex, multidisciplinary projects 
  • Experience with staffing, workload planning, and resource coordination in a project-based environment 
  • Proven experience working with Project Managers, discipline leaders, clients, and firm leadership on digital delivery scope, coordination, and project outcomes 
  • Relevant professional credential or advanced certification in BIM, digital delivery, Autodesk platforms, or related technology preferred 
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region or sector and occasionally to other PAE offices or project sites
  • Strong leadership skills that support accountability, staff growth, and team performance 
  • Ability to lead digital delivery across multiple projects while balancing quality, schedule, staffing, and operational priorities 
  • Sound judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving in complex delivery environments 
  • Experience with staffing, workload planning, and resource coordination 
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with staff, project teams, clients, and leadership 
  • Strong understanding of AEC workflows, especially multidisciplinary MEP coordination and project delivery 
  • Ability to implement BIM standards, digital delivery workflows, and model quality requirements across projects and teams 
  • Strong technical understanding of model environments, collaboration platforms, and digital delivery tools 
  • Ability to monitor delivery performance, identify risks, manage escalations, and support corrective action 
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and digital innovation
     

What We Offer 

  • Hiring Base Salary Range: $112,800-$140,900 annual 
    • This position is eligible for time and a half overtime pay

The base salary is one component of PAE’s competitive compensation package for employees. We take into consideration a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, internal equity and geographic location in determining exact salary offered. At PAE, employees are eligible for annual compensation reviews based on performance and business needs. The above range represents PAE's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
