Project Manager

Ashland Construction Company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Raleigh, NC.  Ashland is a leading general contractor providing comprehensive construction related services, with a depth of experience in retail projects and design-build project delivery.

Position Description

This position is based in Raleigh, North Carolina and responsibilities include:

·         Overall responsibility for ensuring successful project execution from project beginning to completion.

·         Periodic estimating and budgeting

·         Creative problem resolution

·         Project Scheduling

·         Communication to all project stakeholders

·         Supervision and management of superintendents

·         Subcontractor and supplies negotiation and contracting

·         Project financial management

·         Periodic pre-construction services in tandem with pre-construction team

·         Support and enforcement of company safety program

Position Requirements

·         4-year degree in civil engineering, construction management or related coursework

·         Minimum of 8 years project management experience

·         Experience with retail, hospitality, office, and industrial preferred

·         8MM + construction project size preferred
