We are seeking a Project Coordinator who can bring structure, transparency, and process discipline to a fast‑moving, highly technical environment.

This position plays a key role in coordinating Project Management, Engineering, and Sales activities, supporting the delivery of industrial x‑ray components and high‑voltage systems across a wide range of industries.

This opportunity is in our Global Headquarters in Bohemia, NY and is onsite, 5 days per week.

Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator supports Project Management, Engineering, Sales, and the General Manager by planning, organizing, and tracking engineering and customer‑facing projects. The role blends project scheduling, documentation, cross‑department coordination, reporting, and customer communication within a technical manufacturing environment focused on industrial x‑ray components and high‑voltage generators.

Job Description:

  • Build and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and task assignments
  • Track engineering workloads across new development, R&D, and continuous improvement
  • Support Sales by preparing formal engineering reports and coordinating with documentation teams
  • Assist with budgets, resource allocation, and equipment planning
  • Partner with the General Manager on customer communication and project oversight
  • Coordinate across Sales, Marketing, Production, and Engineering
  • Create reports and presentations for internal and external meetings
  • Use the company’s ERP system to manage project and operational data
  • Follow all safety and OSHA requirements; this is a safety‑sensitive role

Essential Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 3+ years in project or sales administration within engineering or manufacturing
  • Strong problem‑solving, organization, prioritization, and time‑management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to interpret mechanical/electrical documents, BOMs, drawings, and schematics
  • Ability to travel and pass background/drug screening

Preferred (Non‑Essential) Skills

  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Familiarity with x‑ray technology
  • Experience with project budgets, schedules, and ERP systems (GSS a plus)
  • Strong customer service and technical writing skills

Physical & Mental Demands:

  • Work occurs in both office and industrial environments
  • Requires regular walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Frequent use of hands for office equipment and possibly basic tools
  • Must maintain alertness and safe work practices
