Job description

Position Summary
We have an exciting career opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our expanding DSI Tech team! This position is located at our headquarters in Ashburn, VA. The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in coordinating and completing assigned network infrastructure implementation projects. Key responsibilities include setting deadlines, assigning tasks, monitoring project progress, and preparing reports for upper management on the status of these projects.

Ideal candidates must be willing to travel to client sites and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Due to the nature of this work, only Green Card holders and U.S. citizens will be considered.

This position is based in Ashburn, Virginia, with a hybrid work schedule available after the initial 90 days onsite.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and track project plans, schedules, timecards, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
  • Coordinate, attend, and actively participate in meetings.
  • Document key decisions and action items, ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Develop and prepare presentation materials for meetings.
  • Monitor and ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Provide administrative support as required.
  • Ensure compliance with project requirements and maintain all necessary documentation.
  • Identify project risks and issues, proposing effective solutions.
  • Lead and facilitate meetings, distributing minutes to relevant team members.
  • Act as a liaison between the Project Manager and technical teams.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with department heads, managers, co-workers, and customers.
  • Convey information concisely and effectively, ensuring clarity in presentations and discussions.
  • Manage workload efficiently, resolving questions and concerns in consultation with the supervisor.
  • Adhere to safety and security protocols.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills/Knowledge:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT Project Management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related IT field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Hands-on experience and/or strong working knowledge of Cisco products and IT solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Proactive problem-solving ability, with strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Effective time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Assertive and resourceful in managing tasks and resolving challenges independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with a solid understanding of computer systems.

The typical salary range for this role is: $70,000 - $80,000 per year plus benefits.
