About Us

Tropical Window is a fourth-generation, family-owned window and door company serving Florida since 1949. We specialize in replacement windows and doors, new construction, and commercial projects. We are looking for an organized, motivated individual to join our growing team.

Position Overview

The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating projects from the time they are sold until completion. This position works closely with homeowners, builders, vendors, sales representatives, and installers to ensure projects stay organized and on schedule.

This is a fast-paced position that requires excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process incoming service and warranty requests
  • Schedule service appointments and coordinate technician routes
  • Create and manage service work orders
  • Communicate with homeowners regarding appointments, parts, and service updates
  • Troubleshoot service issues over the phone when possible
  • Order replacement parts, windows, doors, and related materials
  • Coordinate with manufacturers on warranty claims and replacement products
  • Track service parts, deliveries, and lead times
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation
  • Coordinate with installers, service technicians, and vendors
  • Process permits and inspections when required for service work
  • Assist with Builder Prime and other construction management software
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary
  • Ensure all service tickets are completed and closed promptly

Qualifications

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
