Yellowstone Local is proud to represent Western Utility Telecom, an industry leader in custom steel fabrication for communication towers and utility structures.

As we build our team at our new facility in Fernley, Nevada, we are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and wants to contribute to the growth of our steel operation. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Your New Role
  • Work onsite in Fernley, Nevada, coordinating day-to-day operational activities across Production, Quality, Shipping and Receiving, Purchasing, and Management

  • Support project execution by communicating departmental priorities and helping keep operations on schedule

  • Track assigned fabrication projects by monitoring production schedules, work order status, material availability, documentation, and outstanding action items

  • Maintain accurate project and operational records using SigmaNest MRP and Oracle NetSuite ERP

  • Process work orders, inventory transactions, receiving, material transfers, and item information accurately and efficiently

  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve scheduling, material, and documentation issues

  • Monitor project progress and proactively communicate updates to support on-time completion

  • Maintain organized documentation and operational records that support quality and production objectives

  • Assist with inventory accuracy and material tracking throughout the production process

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve workflow efficiency and project coordination

  • Previous experience as a Project Coordinator, Production Coordinator, Operations Coordinator, Manufacturing Coordinator, or in a similar project support role

  • Experience working in a manufacturing, steel fabrication, metal fabrication, utility, telecommunications, or industrial environment

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

  • Experience coordinating schedules, work orders, production activities, and material availability

  • Working knowledge of inventory control and material tracking processes

  • Experience using ERP and/or MRP systems; experience with Oracle NetSuite ERP and SigmaNest MRP is strongly preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word

  • Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry and documentation skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Production, Quality, Purchasing, Shipping and Receiving, and Management teams

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and follow through on resolutions

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while meeting deadlines
