Landscape Project Manager โ€“ Join a Trusted Industry Leader

Great Outdoors is seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Project Coordinator to oversee landscaping and outdoor construction projects throughout the Ann Arbor, MI area.

Great Outdoors began in 1983, established to address the lawn care service needs of both residential and commercial clients. Founder Michael Kowalski launched the company at just 17 years old, building a business centered on hard work, quality craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction.

We proudly serve residential and commercial clients, offering a wide assortment of essential lawn care and landscaping services designed to create and maintain beautiful outdoor spaces.

We are looking for a strong leader with landscape construction experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering projects on time, within budget, and with exceptional quality.

Responsibilities
  • Manage landscape and outdoor construction projects from start to finish
  • Coordinate and supervise field crews, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines
  • Order and manage materials, equipment, and labor resources
  • Monitor project budgets, costs, and productivity
  • Communicate project updates and expectations with clients
  • Review project plans, specifications, and contractsย 
  • Invoice customers, track P&L, and analyze SPH (Sales per Hour) for landscape projects
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
  • Resolve project challenges while maintaining customer satisfaction
  • Complete project documentation and project closeout activities
QualificationsRequired
  • Experience supervising crews and managing multiple projects
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Budgeting and scheduling experience
  • Valid driverโ€™s license
  • Calendar management and/or scheduling experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively and coordinate with various stakeholders
  • Administrative support experience
  • Operations experience
  • Basic bookkeeping experience and strong math skills
  • Proficient using computers and technology, particularly G-Suite and Google Sheets
Preferred
  • Experience with hardscape, irrigation, drainage, grading, and planting projects
  • Estimating or project management and accounting software experience (Preferablyย LMN and quickbooks)
  • Landscape, horticulture, or construction management background
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
