Job description

Project Manager/Construction Estimator needed by North Idaho Federal contractor performing and managing numerous large scale contracts throughout the US with various government agencies. Position may require some travel throughout the West and Alaska . Must be able to demonstrate 5 yrs of construction management/estimating experience; experience with Federal Contracts a plus. Must be able to simultaneously manage multiple construction projects and bids. Salary $120000 - $150000 DOE w/ yearly performance bonus. Medical/Dental Benefits; Vacation, PTO Holidays.

  • Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems.
  • Plan, schedule, or coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines.
  • Direct and supervise construction or related workers.
  • Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports.
  • Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes or other regulations.

  • Plan, organize, or direct activities concerned with the construction or maintenance of structures, facilities, or systems.

  • Evaluate construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness of plans, using computer models.
  • Develop construction budgets to compare green and non-green construction alternatives, in terms of short-term costs, long-term costs, or environmental impacts.
