Description:
Cost Lead Integrated Client/Contractor Project Controls Team
Lead project cost control and forecasting activities within an integrated client and contractor project controls organization.
Responsible for budget management, cost reporting, forecasting, change management, and performance analysis to support successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and control project budgets, forecasts, cash flows, and cost reports
Lead monthly cost reporting, including variance analysis, trend identification, and performance insights
Manage change control, commitments, accruals, and cost performance tracking
Support integrated client/contractor reporting and governance requirements
Ensure compliance with project controls procedures and contractual requirements
Support continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
10-15 years' experience of cost experience
Proficient in Excel, PowerBi, and PowerQuery
General oil/gas background preferred but not required

Work Location:

Houston Energy Corridor-Eldridge McDermott office with occasional visits to Sabine Pass (usually overnight Tuesday - Wednesday) every 2 weeks.
Local candidates only.
What are 3-5 must haves: Cost LEAD - 10-15 years' experience.
No specific software - general Excel, PowerBi, PowerQuery.
General oil/gas background preferred but not required.
Comments: Integrated team = client + contractor environment.
Working with and driving a contractor team.
Work schedule: 40-50/week
M-F, potentially on a weekend.
Working hours: Flexible - GPX starts usually around 6-6:30AM but McD folks arrive closer to 8AM.
Duration: Through December 2027.
Interview process: prefer in-person but can support virtual.
Interview availability: ASAP.
